Discover your perfect retreat

The apartment is located in the historic Villa Herbst, built in 1875 as a summer residence for the Herbst family – renowned industrialists and philanthropists from Łódź, connected with the Scheibler textile dynasty. The villa has preserved its historical character and remains one of the most recognizable buildings in this part of Sopot. Over the years, it has hosted many notable figures, including artists and members of the aristocracy. In 1910, even the German crown prince Wilhelm Hohenzollern stayed here during a journey through Pomerania. The villa is listed as a heritage monument of the Pomeranian Voivodeship and marked with a characteristic blue conservation plaque. The building represents a historicist architectural style with neo-Renaissance elements – including a distinctive mansard roof, ornate architectural details, wrought-iron balconies, and a preserved original interior layout. High ceilings, thick walls, and large windows create a sense of calm and elegance. The staircase features original solid wood steps and Art Nouveau railings, while the entrance is adorned with a hand-crafted door and transom window. From the apartment windows, you can enjoy a view of the quiet, green Herbst Park, situated along the picturesque Eliza stream. Among the old trees, you can relax away from the city’s bustle, listening to birdsong and the gentle sound of flowing water. The park offers walking paths, shaded benches, and a small playground. At the same time, the apartment is located just 650 meters from the beach, and a few minutes’ walk from the famous Sopot Pier and Monte Cassino Street. This is a place with a soul – perfect for those who seek not only comfort but also a unique atmosphere, a touch of history, and closeness to nature. Ideal for a family holiday, a romantic getaway, or a peaceful seaside retreat.
